最近“手頭緊”用英語怎么說？

　　金融危機席卷全球，越來越多的公司企業(yè)感到經(jīng)濟拮據(jù)，有些甚至已經(jīng)開始通過裁員和精簡部門設(shè)置來改善當前的經(jīng)濟狀況。在這樣的大環(huán)境下，作為小職員的我們自然也是銀包縮水，With the spread of global financial crisis, people in our country also feel the pinch.

　　Feel the pinch這個短語一般都用來形容財政困難，手頭拮據(jù)等狀況，作此解釋也是源于pinch這個詞有“困境、困苦”等意思。

　　If someone is short of money or feeling restricted in some other way, they are feeling the pinch.

　　再看一個例子：

　　Shopkeepers are beginning to feel the pinch because no one has a lot of money to spend these days.
