cold finger 冷手指

Cold finger means to ignore someone's text or social media site message and comment, especiallly when this person's message is pointless or uncalled for. “冷手指”指無視某人的短信或者社交媒體上發(fā)來的私信和評論，尤其當(dāng)這些信息毫無意義，也沒啥道理的時候。   看到cold finger這個說法，你是不是覺得有點眼熟？沒錯，其實這個說法就是從cold shoulder這個短語衍生出來的。   This expression is similar to "cold shoulder", a phrase used to express dismissal or the act of disregarding someone. The only difference is that cold finger is usually hidden behind a screen, while cold shoulder can be right in front of your face. 這個表達(dá)與cold shoulder類似，后者通常用來表達(dá)拒絕或無視的行為。二者唯一的區(qū)別是，cold finger通常是躲在屏幕后面完成的，而cold shoulder可能是當(dāng)著你的面表現(xiàn)的。
