英語道歉信寫作結(jié)構(gòu)及范文
【題目要求】
假設(shè)你是新華中學的學生李華，你和在上海上學的英國朋友Tom約好下周末去北京旅游，但你因故不能赴約。請根據(jù)以下要點用英語給他寫一封電子郵件：
1. 表示歉意；
2. 解釋原因；
3. 另約時間。
注意：1. 詞數(shù)120~150；
2. 可適當增加細節(jié)。
【審題】
1. 一封道歉信；
2. 文體：電子郵件。
3. 半開放：“原因”需要考生自編。
英語考場作文一般說來最長時間25分鐘，而且有字數(shù)要求120-150。仔細審題凸顯重要。題干內(nèi)的開放性——解釋原因“因故”而未給出“故”的確切內(nèi)容，要求考生自己思考合理的緣由，那么在跨文化背景的前提下，一個什么樣的理由才是來自英國的Tom可以接受的呢？
據(jù)參加當年高考閱卷的老師說，大部分考生寫的原因是：爺爺奶奶生病、父母臨時有要事需要他們或者是臨時調(diào)課等諸如此類。拿高考來說，基本閱卷老師皆中國老師，可以理解這樣的解釋，只要語言錯誤不是太多，考生拿到及格線以上沒有問題。
但是，從道歉信的寫作角度來講，因為Cultural differences之故，如上原因，感覺只是在李華為自己的違約找了個借口，而失真誠感，對于在英國長大的Tom,恐難接受。既然道歉，作者就應(yīng)該換位思考，所編的理由，符合英語語言文化的背景。既然Tom身在中國，對于李華要去機場接從國外回來的李明，而且是陪同李明的父母前往，帶著濃濃的親情、友情，這樣的描述會使得Tom讀來就自然而然地認為你的失約是無可厚非的，可以理解的。
以上是分析2010山東卷英語作文的內(nèi)容選材時，給學生做的分析。此類內(nèi)容學生一看題，第一直覺就是站在李華的角度來思考，其實犯了道歉信的大忌。

Dear Tom,
I’m very sorry that I can’t go on a trip to Beijing with you next weekend, which I have promised you. I’m writing to tell you the reason for it.
Just now, my cousin, Li Ming, who went abroad for further education last year, informed me that he would return the next Saturday morning. He asked me to pick him up at the airport with his parents. As you know, we haven’t seen each other for about a year, so I’ll have to help him in the first place.
I really hope that you can accept my apologies and understand me. I would appreciate it if you allow me to fix another time to show you around some places of interest in Beijing.
