  恭喜的幾種英語表達方法作文 2

So, when somebody tells you some really good news, maybe theyve achieved something amazing, whats the first word that comes to your head? what would you say to them?

  當(dāng)有人告訴你一些非常好的消息,比如他們?nèi)〉昧艘恍@人的成就,你首先想到的是什么?你會對他們說什么?

  Probably congratulations.

  可能是恭喜。

But do you know any other ways of congratulating someone?

  但是你知道對別人說“恭喜”的其他方式嗎?

Today, were going to expand your vocabulary and learn some pronunciation along the way.

  今天,我們將擴大你的詞匯量,并在此過程中學(xué)習(xí)一些發(fā)音。

  Lets go.

  開始吧。

  Congratulations. Con-gra-tu-la-tions.

  恭喜你。Con-gra-tu-la-tions。

Lets talk about the pronunciation immediately; lets go straight into this.

  讓我們馬上來說說發(fā)音;走起。

I think the most important part of this word is the vowels because there are so many in this word and a lot of them are very very important to British pronunciation.

  我認(rèn)為這個單詞最重要的部分是元音,因為這個單詞有很多元音,其中很多對英式發(fā)音非常重要。

So, firstly, we have a schwa sound.

  首先,是一個弱央元音。

So the schwa sound is an //, /k/.

  那就是//,//。

So to pronounce the schwa sound, Ive talked about this in loads of lessons, so Im just going to briefly cover it.

  關(guān)于如何發(fā)這個音,我已經(jīng)在很多課上談過了,所以我將簡要介紹一下。

You should just be really relaxed.

  我們要非常放松。

Keep your tongue relaxed in the middle of your mouth, just open your mouth in a relaxed way, //, //, okay, /K/.

  讓舌頭在嘴中間放松,用放松的方式張開嘴,//,//,好的,/k/。

Okay. And then the next vowel that were going to approach is /kngr/, okay? so, an // sound.

  好的。下一個元音是/kngr/,一個//音。

Again, this sound is very important to British English and many of my students who join my course have an extreme issue with pronouncing this sound correctly.

  同樣,這個發(fā)音對英式英語非常重要,許多參加我課程的學(xué)生在正確發(fā)這個音方面都有一個極端的問題。

Often, its pronounced as //, so it would sound like /kngr/.

  通常,它的發(fā)音是//,所以連起來是/kngr/。

Or some people pronounce it as /ɑ/, so it becomes /kngrɑ/.

  或者有些人把它讀成/ɑ/, 所以它變成了/kngrɑ/。

But we want /kngr/, //, okay.

  但我們發(fā)的是/kngr/,//。

So to pronounce this sound is quite simple.

  這個音的發(fā)音很簡單。

Push your tongue all the way down into the bottom of your mouth, open your mouth wide almost like youre biting into a big burger, //.

  舌頭一直推到嘴巴底部,張大嘴巴,就像在咬一個大漢堡一樣。

Imagine that burger coming towards your mouth or whatever kind of food you really enjoy.

  想象一下,那個漢堡或你很喜歡的食物來到你的嘴邊。

And just open your mouth, push the tongue down and forward, //.

  張大嘴巴,把舌頭向下和向前推。

  So we have //, //.

  那么,我們學(xué)習(xí)了//和//。

And then what a surprise moving along to the next vowel, another schwa sound.

  然后到下一個元音,另一個弱央元音,真是驚喜。

  /knɡrt/, //, okay another schwa.

  /knɡrt/,//,另一個弱央元音。

  So we have //, //, //.

  那么,我們學(xué)了//,//,//。

Feel your tongue go middle, down, middle, //, //, //.

  舌頭放在中間,向下,中間,//,//,//。

And youll see your chin drop as well //, //, //.

  下巴也會向下移動,//,//,//。

Now the next vowel is, well, two vowels and theyre called a diphthong.

  下一個元音是兩個元音,它們被稱為雙元音。

This is when we join two vowels together and they become one sound, /e/, /e/, /e/, feel your tongue start in the middle of your mouth slightly forward, /e/, /e/, /e/.

  就是把兩個元音連接在一起,變成一個音,/e/,/e/,/e/,舌頭從嘴中間稍微向前,/e/,/e/,/e/。

See my tongue, see my mouth, /e/.

  看到我的舌頭,看到我的嘴巴,/e/。

And then slightly lift the tongue up and spread your cheeks a bit more, /e/.

  然后稍微抬起舌頭,把臉頰張開一點,/e/。

Your mouth should close a bit as well.

  嘴也閉緊一點。

Its in words like "day", "say".

  單詞 day,say 里面有這個音。

And there you go, youve pronounced all of the vowels in this word, //, //, //, /e/.

  好了,這個單詞的所有元音都發(fā)好了,//,//,//,/e/。

Now the next step would obviously be joining these vowels with the consonants in the words.

  下一步顯然是將這些元音與單詞中的輔音連接起來。

And we dont have all the time in the world in one YouTube video to be teaching all of the consonants as well.

  我們沒有足夠的時間在一個油管的視頻中教所有的輔音。

So if you do have problems with these consonants, please let me know and perhaps we could talk about those in the future.

  所以如果你對這些輔音有問題,請告訴我,也許我們以后可以講一下。

Or obviously, you can join my course where I have a tutorial for every sound, every part of the British accent if thats what you want to learn.

  當(dāng)然,你也可以參加我的課程,如果你想學(xué)的話,我有一個關(guān)于英式口音的每個發(fā)音和每個部分的教程。

Assuming that you can pronounce most of these consonants.

  假設(shè)你能發(fā)這些輔音中的大部分。

Try it with me. The vowels are the most important part, congratulations/knɡrtlen/.

  和我一起試試。元音是最重要的部分,congratulations/knɡrtlen/。

But what are some other ways of saying congratulations?

  但是還有什么其他表達“恭喜”的詞呢?

Well, let me tell you the shorter version which many people use in the UK, particularly in more of an informal situation, people might say Congrats.

  好吧,讓我告訴你在英國很多人使用的簡短版本,特別是在非正式的情況下,人們可能會說 Congrats。

Now, this is much easier for your pronunciation because all you have to do is that schwa sound at the beginning /k/, /knɡrts/.

  這個詞對你的發(fā)音來說要容易得多,因為你所要發(fā)的就是以/k/音開頭的弱央元音,/knɡrts/。

And thats all of the vowels, Congrats.

  這就是所有的元音,Congrats。

But the difficult part is the TS at the end.

  但困難的部分是最后的 TS。

Again, just like in "congratulations", we have some consonant clusters where we have more than one consonant together.

  同樣,就像在 congratulations 中一樣,這里有一些輔音群,就是幾個輔音連在一起。

Its difficult but you have to do a TS, Congrats, /ts/, /ts/.

  這很難發(fā)音,但你必須發(fā)一個 TS,Congrats,/ts/,/ts/。

Ive talked about consonant clusters before on this channel and again, theres a whole chapter in my course if you do join.

  我之前在這個頻道里講過輔音群,如果你想學(xué)的話,我的課程里有整整一章。

I just want to say something else you could do before that to make your congratulation maybe a bit more sincere and maybe just to give yourself a bit more of a boost when you speak and to make what you say a little bit longer.

  我想說的是,在“恭喜”之前,你可以說一些其他的話,讓你的祝賀更真誠一些,讓你聽起來更加振奮,讓你說的話更長一些。

And its just by simply saying "Thats great" or "Amazing", okay.

  只要簡單地說“太棒了”或“太贊了”就行了。

So using words like "great", "fantastic", "amazing", you can put the word "thats" before.

  可以使用像 great、fantastic、amazing 這樣的詞,你可以把 thats 放在前面。

What thats doing is commenting on what theyve told you.

  這樣做是對他們告訴你的事情發(fā)表評論。

So lets say somebody has just told you that they got married last week.

  假設(shè)有人剛剛告訴你他們上周結(jié)婚了。

"Thats amazing! Congratulations!"Okay. So this kind of "Thats great", "Thats amazing", "Fantastic", use those words before you say your main congratulating word.

  “太棒了!恭喜你!”就是把 Thats great、Thats amazing、Fantastic 等詞放在“恭喜”之前。

And what that will do is make you sound friendlier and also like youre very happy, okay.

  這樣做會讓你聽起來更友好,也會讓你看起來很開心。

So its a... it creates a good impression.

  給人一個好印象。

So another one. This one is very very common between friends.

  另一個。這個在朋友之間非常常見。

I say this all the time.

  我一直這么說。

This is probably my most common way of congratulating someone and its by saying "Nice one". "Nice one."Now, the most difficult part of this is for most non-natives, anyway, is pronouncing the word "one".

  這可能是我最常見的祝賀方式,就是說“干得好”。Nice one.對于大多數(shù)非本地人來說,最困難的部分是發(fā)音 one 這個詞。

I have so many students join my course who tell me that they can pronounce this word correctly and they just find it so hard when they realize that actually they are not, okay.

  我有很多學(xué)生參加我的課程,他們告訴我他們能正確發(fā)這個單詞的音,但當(dāng)他們意識到實際上他們并不能正確發(fā)這個音時,他們會覺得很難。

  /w/, its the // sound.

  /w/,發(fā)//音。

Thats the most difficult and because it comes after a /w/ small round shape with the mouth, its very difficult.

  這是最困難的,因為它是在嘴巴發(fā)完/w/音,張成小圓形之后發(fā)的音,所以非常困難。

To produce the // sound in "one", you have to pull your tongue back into your mouth slightly, so towards the throat, not too far back, slightly lower it but dont put it too low on the bottom of the mouth.

  要發(fā)出 one 中的//音,必須把舌頭稍微拉回嘴里,向喉嚨縮進,但不要太靠后,而且稍微放低一點,但不要把舌頭放得太低。

It should be slightly lifted off the bottom of the mouth.

  舌頭從口腔的底部稍微抬起。

And we need a bit of a bent as well, it does help.

  舌頭也要稍微彎曲。

  So, //, /w/, /w/.

  就像//,/w/,/w/。

You see my tongue. Its kind of bending up, "one". "Nice one."Now, intonation is very important in this phrase as well. "Nice one!"Something we do when we like to sound friendly and also emotional and like were feeling something, like we sound a bit more human when we do this in British intonation, is called an up-down tone.

  你看我的舌頭。它有點彎曲,one。Nice one.語調(diào)在這個短語中也非常重要。Nice one!當(dāng)我們想讓自己的語氣聽起來友好而又充滿情感時,我們會做一些事情,比如當(dāng)我們用英式語調(diào)這樣做時,我們會聽起來更有人情味,這種語調(diào)被稱為先升后降的語調(diào)。

So you listen to my tone. "Nice one!" "Nice one!"Whats happening is Im rising and Im falling more of an emotional tone, a feeling of expression and really showing that we are feeling.

  大家聽聽我的語氣。Nice one! Nice one!我是先升調(diào),然后降調(diào),更多的是一種情感的語氣,一種表達的感覺,真正表現(xiàn)出我們的感受。

If I just said "Nice one", that would sound like I dont care, I couldnt give a toss, and I... you go and get married, I dont care, right?

  如果我說 Nice one,那聽起來就像是我不在乎,我根本不在乎,而且我……你結(jié)你的婚,關(guān)我什么事。

But if I said "Thats amazing! Nice one!"Right? This kind of rise full tone and a smile always helps and it will make you sound friendlier and also like you really mean what youre saying.

  但是如果我說:Thats amazing! Nice one!這種上升飽滿的語調(diào)和微笑總是有幫助的,它會讓你聽起來更友好,也會讓人覺得你說的話是真心的。

Intonation is everything, is the blood of English.

  語調(diào)是一切,是英語的血液。

As well as "nice one", you could say "good one".

  除了 nice one,你還可以說 good one。

That would be more if somebody had achieved something quite small.

  如果有人取得了一個很小的成就,你就可以這么說。

Maybe theyve completed their homework in record-breaking time. "Good one!"You know, its more of an achievement response.

  也許他們在破紀(jì)錄的時間內(nèi)完成了作業(yè)!安诲e!”你知道,這更像是一種成就的回應(yīng)。

So when somebody achieves something that theyve tried hard to do, "congratulations" is more of a word wed use when somebody has reached a milestone or done something which is you know like a reward, rewarding thing that theyve done.

  所以,當(dāng)某人完成了他們努力完成的事情時,“恭喜”這個詞更多的是我們在某人達到里程碑或完成某事時使用的,就像獎勵,獎勵他們所做的事情。

But if its just, you know, an easy task that someone has completed, youd probably say "Nice one" or a "Good one".

  但如果某人完成了一項簡單的任務(wù),你可能會說 Nice one 或 Good one。

Or of course, "Well done". "Well done!"So "nice one", "good one", "well done", those are three really similar ones which you can use.

當(dāng)然還有 Well done!案傻暮茫 彼 nice one, good one, well done,這是你可以使用的三個非常相似的表達。

And you can play around with other words, too.

  你也可以隨意使用其他單詞。

  How about "good job"?

  Good job 怎么樣?

Now the difficulty here again is in the second word.

  這里的難點又在第二個詞上。

So many people in their schools, they learn an American style of English and then when they realize, oh, actually I prefer British English, they come to me.

  很多人在學(xué)校里學(xué)習(xí)美式英語,當(dāng)他們意識到,哦,實際上他們更喜歡英式英語時,他們來找我。

One of the main sounds that they have a problem with is the // sound because its a very very British sound.

  他們糾結(jié)的主要發(fā)音之一是//音,因為這是一個非常英式的發(fā)音。

Now, my American accent is terrible but for example, in some areas of the US they might say /dɑb/ instead of /db/.

  我的美國口音很糟糕,但例如,在美國的一些地區(qū),他們可能會說/dɑb/而不是/db/。

Now again, I cant pronounce it perfectly, but they do more of an /ɑ/ sound.

  我發(fā)得不好,但他們通常發(fā)/ɑ/音。

Now we do an //, short vowel, round mouth, //, //, //, "good job", "job", okay.

  現(xiàn)在我們來發(fā)一下//音,短元音,嘴巴張成圓形,//,//,//,good job,job。

It needs to be quick and snappy that word and it will make you sound more like a contemporary RP British speaker, "good job", //, //.

  這個詞需要快速而利落,這樣你聽起來就更像一個現(xiàn)代的 RP 英式口音,good job,//,//。

Again, we would want to use this tone, "Good job", okay.

  而且,我們也會用這種語氣,Good job。

"Job", "good job", rise fall to show that youre feeling emotion.

  Job,good job,用先升后降的語調(diào)來顯示你的感情。

An easy quick lesson today, but this is something thats been requested for a while: how can I congratulate people without just saying the word "congratulations"?

  今天是一個簡單的快速課程,但解決了很多學(xué)生經(jīng)常問我的一個問題:除了說“恭喜”,我還可以說什么來表示祝賀?

And also how do I pronounce "congratulations" because its a big word and its difficult.

  還有 congratulations 如何發(fā)音,因為這個詞很長。

So hopefully, Ive highlighted some of those issues more of a beginner lesson today.

  我今天強調(diào)的這些問題更像是初學(xué)者課程。

But youll be surprised how many advanced speakers have problems with some of the basic common words in English.

  但你會驚訝地發(fā)現(xiàn),很多高水平學(xué)習(xí)者在一些基本的英語常用詞上也存在問題。

And being able to pronounce some of these basic words will help you further along your journey into accent learning.

  能夠發(fā)這些基本單詞的音會幫助你在口音學(xué)習(xí)的道路上走得更遠。

Because youll be able to pronounce the easier words better the more common words better which is training those muscles to start producing that sound naturally.

  因為你可以更好地讀出簡單的單詞,更常見的單詞,這是在訓(xùn)練你的臉部肌肉,讓它們開始自然地發(fā)音。

So always start with the baby words and you will get better.

  先從簡單的單詞入手,你會有所進步。

Thank you very much for watching today.

  非常感謝大家的觀看。

Its been a pleasure as always.

  和往常一樣,我很高興。

  Cheers, guys. Bye.

  伙計們。拜拜。
