Ⅰ. Aims and demands 目標(biāo)要求
1. Learn some new words and phrases:
weekday, early, bird, catch, walk, ride, park, do (one’s) homework, watch TV
2. (1)Go on learning adverbs of frequency:seldom, never, sometimes
(2)Review the present simple tense.
I always get up at about six o’clock.
Li Xiang often comes to school by bike.

Step 1Review
復(fù)習(xí)交通方式的表達(dá)用語及相關(guān)句型導(dǎo)出1a，呈現(xiàn)并學(xué)習(xí)1b。
1.:How do you usually go to school?/ Do you often go to school by bus/car…?)
Example:
S1: How do you usually go to school?
S2: I usually go to school by bike. How do you usually go to school?
2.根據(jù)第1環(huán)節(jié)的實(shí)際情況, 老師總結(jié)并導(dǎo)出對話1a的語言功能目標(biāo), 為下一步過渡做鋪墊。
3. 板書并講解頻度副詞。
Step 2Presentation
呈現(xiàn)1a。
1.T: boys and girls, what time do you usually get up?
S1: I usually get up at half past six.
T: Yes, we should go to bed early and get up early. As the saying goes, “The early bird catches the worm.” Who knows the meaning of this sentence?
(讓學(xué)生猜測，教師板書并加以講解，并教導(dǎo)學(xué)生們在學(xué)習(xí)和生活中都應(yīng)該勤奮、努力。)
2. 根據(jù)1a的主要信息,讓學(xué)生帶著任務(wù)聽1a的錄音, 可以提高興趣、降低難度
T: Listen to 1a and find out the answers to these questions on the blackboard.
(1) What time does Michael get up on weekdays?
(2) How does Michael usually go to school?
(3) Does Sally often go to school by subway?
(4) Who always takes a bus to school?
3. 讓學(xué)生再聽一遍1a的錄音并核對答案。
(1)He gets up at about six o’clock.
(2)He usually goes to school on foot.
(3)No, she doesn’t.
(4)Sally always takes a bus to school.
Step 3Consolidation
鞏固1a和1b的內(nèi)容。
1. T: Follow the tape and pay attention to your pronunciation and intonation.
2. (人機(jī)對話，提高學(xué)生的興趣。)
T: OK. Suppose you are Michael and Sally. Listen to the tape and make a dialog with Helen.
3. 讓學(xué)生分角色表演1a，小組之間進(jìn)行比賽
T: Good! Now let’s work in groups and act out 1a. Then we’ll choose the best one.
Step 4Practice
呈現(xiàn)2a的圖片，通過師生互動(dòng), 讓學(xué)生進(jìn)一步了解和鞏固語言知識(shí)，進(jìn)行同義替換，完成2b和3。
1. (1)T: Look at the first picture. How does Maria go home?
Ss:She goes home by subway.
T: Yes, we can also say: she takes the subway home.
呈現(xiàn)同義替換，加強(qiáng)對交通工具表達(dá)方式的靈活運(yùn)用�？偨Y(jié)并板書。
by subway — take the subway by bike — ride a bike
on foot — walk by bus — take a bus
by car — take a car by plane — fly
(2) T: Follow the tape and pay attention to the pronunciation.
(3)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生歸納總結(jié)1a和2a中頻度副詞的用法，并進(jìn)行操練。
T: Find out the sentences with the adverbs of frequency, pay attention to their usage and then make sentences.
2. T: Now, talk about the pictures in 2a with your partner.
Example:
S1: How does Maria go home?
S2: She sometimes goes home by subway./She sometimes takes the subway home.
3. 播放3的錄音, 讓學(xué)生獨(dú)立完成3并核對答案。
Step 5Project
1.讓學(xué)生用How do you usually come to school?的句型，調(diào)查自己的同伴或鄰近的學(xué)生, 根據(jù)調(diào)查結(jié)果, 寫一段話, 盡量使用頻度副詞。讓幾名學(xué)生匯報(bào)他們的調(diào)查結(jié)果。
T: Please survey your partners or your neighbors using “How do you usually come to school?’’ You should use the adverbs of frequency. At last, write a short passage according to the form. You can begin like this: Li Ming sometimes goes shopping …
2. 家庭作業(yè)。
讓學(xué)生用Section A和Section B中學(xué)過的重點(diǎn)句型寫一篇五句話左右的有關(guān)自己出行方式的小短文，并且讓學(xué)生收集中外諺語或名人名言。
