摘 要 遠(yuǎn)程教育(Distance Education) 出現(xiàn)不僅是教育技術(shù)的改革，更是幾千年傳統(tǒng)學(xué)院式教學(xué)模式的變革。20世紀(jì)90年代中期，國(guó)際互聯(lián)網(wǎng)（Internet）的迅猛發(fā)展，使形成基于的網(wǎng)絡(luò)手段的現(xiàn)代遠(yuǎn)程教育體系的實(shí)現(xiàn)提供了可能。教育的未來將是形成一個(gè)全球化完整的網(wǎng)絡(luò)教育體系。體育教育兼具體育與教育在新千年最活躍的因素，因此，尋求體育教育的變革與發(fā)展，盡快實(shí)現(xiàn)現(xiàn)代遠(yuǎn)程體育教育，可能是一條必由之路。本文根據(jù)遠(yuǎn)程教育在世界與中國(guó)的發(fā)生、發(fā)展，對(duì)體育教育與現(xiàn)代遠(yuǎn)程教育的交互融合、實(shí)施策略等方面進(jìn)行嘗試性探究。

Abstract:
The past twenty years is the transition from the Industrial to the Information Age after given the massive impact of technological innovation in most fields of human activity. There has been a significant expansion in the distance education technologies with the potential to improve the quality of teaching and learning. Furthermore, the new computer-based technologies provide opportunities for enhancing the quality of teaching and learning. In recent years distance education has been supplemented by the Internet, and called as Modern Distance Education (MDE). The Distance educators have well embraced new technologies in most of teaching fields than at any other time in history, while the application of Internet to Physical Education (PE) has been primarily piecemeal and rather limited. There appears to exist a "blind spot" in the field of distance education development
PE is kind of active education, therefore, the most aspects of distance education is active and could significantly improve the efficacy of the interactive teaching-learning process for PE. Education providers should think much of exploring ways of using Internet active technology to establish MDEPE, and create distance education strategy for PE on a multi-media instructional package, which can be used independently of time and place. For educational development and academic researches, the higher education provision and its revolution in the 21st Century need MDEPE.
