英文求職信撰寫攻略

　　英文求職信在結(jié)構(gòu)和形式上與一般信件相同，但由于英文求職信目的性較強(qiáng)，所以在內(nèi)容方面有自己的獨特之處。雖然求職者的個人情況不同，且所求職位各異，但英文求職信一般應(yīng)包含以下四個部分：

　　一、開場白

　　在正文開始就應(yīng)表明自己寫信的原由，表達(dá)求職的愿望。求職信的第一段非常重要，它決定著用人單位是否會讀完這封信，甚至是否對求職者產(chǎn)生興趣。這部分應(yīng)告訴對方自己是如何獲悉招聘信息的，以及準(zhǔn)備應(yīng)聘何種職位。如果獲得招聘的消息不是很確切，可以詢問的語氣毛遂自薦，并陳述自己對該公司或該職位的興趣與向往。以下英文句式可以用來表達(dá)這部分內(nèi)容：

　　I wish to apply for the job as an accountant you are offering in today's South Weekly.

　　I am very excited and delighted over the good news that you are recruiting a secretary.

　　On looking over today's China Daily,my attention was attracted by your advertisement for an assistant general manager.As I am desirous of obtaining such a position,I should like to apply for it.

　　In response to your advertisement in Wuhan Evenings for a social secretary,I tender my services for the situation.

　　二、自我介紹

　　這部分可以展示應(yīng)聘者的個人背景資料。應(yīng)聘者的年齡、特長、教育背景、工作經(jīng)歷與工作能力等應(yīng)作簡要介紹，這樣才能讓用人單位確信你具備所應(yīng)聘職位的資格。如果你剛剛畢業(yè)或還未畢業(yè)，由于很少有甚至沒有工作的經(jīng)歷，可以多介紹在校期間參加的社會實踐活動。同時也可以介紹與你所應(yīng)聘的工作有關(guān)的個人興趣、愛好等。以下英文句式可以用來表達(dá)這部分內(nèi)容：

　　I have had four years' experience with a city company as a market analyst.

　　Since my graduation from Trade and Economy College of Huazhong Agricultural University two years ago,I have been employed as an export staff member in a trade company.

　　I specialized in Human Resources Management at Huazhong Agricultural University,from which I graduated in July,2001 with highest honor.

　　I am able to speak English fluently and translate them rapidly into Chinese.

　　Being well acquainted with office work,I could make myself useful,should there be any opportunity of your requiring my services.

　　I have working knowledge of all common office machines,such as typewriter,word processor,fax machine,and photocopying machine.

　　如果是另謀職位，還應(yīng)說明離職的原因，使用人單位對你過去的情況有一個直觀的了解。例如：

　　The reason why I want to leave my present position is that the work location is too far away from the city.

　　I intend to give up my present post in order to get broader experience in trading.

　　三、推薦證明

　　為使用人單位對求職者的道德品質(zhì)、工作表現(xiàn)或?qū)W習(xí)成績有所了解，求職者應(yīng)提供兩到三名推薦人，以證明求職信所述內(nèi)容的真實性。推薦人最好是過去的上司或求學(xué)時的老師。如果已經(jīng)在個人簡歷中詳細(xì)說明了此項，這部分可以省略，只需在附件中注明有幾封推薦信即可。以下英文句式可以用來表達(dá)這部分內(nèi)容：

　　I have some letters of recommendation from my instructors in these subjects.I should like the opportunity of showing them to you.

　　Concerning my character and ability,I am permitted to refer to Professor Zhang Qiancheng,who is an expert in animal husbandry.

　　四、結(jié)束語

　　在求職信的結(jié)尾部分應(yīng)明確表示希望獲得面試的機(jī)會，及希望得到所申請職位的強(qiáng)烈愿望，并留下聯(lián)系方式。以下英文句式可以用來表達(dá)這部分內(nèi)容：

　　I would be happy to come for an interview at your convenience to discuss my qualifications in person.I can be reached at 87654321 after 8 p.m.any day.

　　If you feel that I am suited for the job,please inform me of the time convenient for an interview.

　　在求職信的寫作中應(yīng)注意兩個問題：首先，避免冗長累贅和雜亂無章，應(yīng)簡潔明快地進(jìn)入主題，準(zhǔn)確無誤地表達(dá)求職的愿望。其次，既要避免妄自菲薄，又要避免夜郎自大，應(yīng)不卑不亢、禮貌委婉地展現(xiàn)自己的能力和才華。
