旅游英語(yǔ)作文 篇1
I went to three cities to play during last summer holidays. They are Beijing, Dalian and HuHehot.
I went to Beijing more than eight times. Beijing is the capital of China. It’s a big city. I am very familiar with Beijing. It takes an hour and forty minutes from Nantong to Beijing by plane. There are many tall buildings in Beijing. It’s a modern city. My family visited the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Palace Museum, the Beihai Park, the Space Museum, etc. I went to the countryside of Beijing to go boating and fishing. It was very interesting. I went shopping in WangFuJing. I bought lots of souvenirs and other things. I like eating Beijing snacks. They are delicious. Don’t mithe Beijing Duck. It is really nice.
Dalian is a beautiful city. Dalian is close to Beijing. I spent 5o minutes on the plane. Dalian is near the sea. I smelled the salty taste in the air. The roads are clean. There are lots of trees and flowers near the roads. There are many esplanades and Japanese buildings. There are some fountains in one of the esplanades. Some people flew kites and walked on the esplanades. We went to see the beach and the sea. The sea is blue. There were many swimmers in the sea. I lay on the beach to see the sky.Dalian is a very nice place to live.
Huhehot is in Inner Mongol. There are lots of large grasslands. The grasslands are endless. The sky is bright blue. There were a lot of horses and sheep. They were running or eating grass. I rode a horse on the graland. I picked some colourful flowers. We drank the tea with milk. There is a
small desert, it was very hot when I walked on it. The sand could sing.
These trips helped me open my eyes. I enjoyed my day.
旅游英語(yǔ)作文 篇2
Every summer vacation, mom and dad used to take me to travel, we visited many places, there are well-known mountains and rivers, lake, village town. I was impressed with the sea and the Butterfly Valley in Yiyuan.
Last summer we went to look at the sunshine, this is my first time to see the real sea, when I rushed toward the beach, moist and fresh air makes me one of the earthquake, it is refreshing in contrast, thorough physical and mental, I live in the city air is simply "muddy"; let me understand the vastness of the sea what is called "endless", the sea of "mind" is "wide"!
Walking, swimming, beach shallow water waves, yacht leisure, enjoy the stimulation and really suffered the sea taste "".
Touch stone, pile sand dunes, pick up shellfish - seeking, creative, mysterious, more is the "fun" of the sea.
The riotous with colour shells, peculiar looking appearance is for changing from the extraordinary as if done by the spirits, luster shining too profound to be understood the mystery of the sea! You can really eat as much as Tibet, so I still get lost in your imagination.
With the edification of the sea, I memorable the feelings of the mountains, and the impression of the Butterfly Valley in Yiyuan is still in the eye.
In the deep rich valley, all the butterflies dancing, like a fairy to see their beautiful and leisurely flying posture, charming color, in which a wild profusion of vegetation in the valley formed a beautiful landscape, the Butterfly Valley is a well deserved reputation.
I see in a daze, a dazzling beautiful butterfly indigo falls on my front, I suddenly froze, afraid frighten it with her eyes staring at it, it has wings, the background is the illusion of indigo, arc two golden yellow, the center is a large pea red dot, my mind suddenly flashed a thought "what a punchline, here is simply not worth mentioning."
Very not easy to wait until it slowly away, my soul like is it away, looked at the direction it flew in a daze staring blankly.
At home in the evening, I had a dream. I dreamt that I became an indigo big butterfly, and I flew away in the direction of it.
旅游英語(yǔ)作文 篇3
Dear Mr. Cook,
I am writing this letter to recommend you one of the tourist attractions in my city —The Great Wall. The detailed reasons for my recommendation are listed as the following.
At the top of the list, the Great Wall is one of the oldest historic interests in China. In addition, there are a large number of tourists in China and abroad touring the Great Wall and appreciating its grandness, and therefore it is not too much to say that unless a foreigner visit the Great Wall, it equals to say that he has never been to China .
Finally, I sincerely hope that you will have a good time in China. Looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
Yours sincerely,
Li Ming

旅游英語(yǔ)作文 篇4
Mount Qingcheng 65km west of Chengdu, Qingchengshan Mountain (Qingchengshan) is one of the ancient cradles of Daoism. The mountain has numerous Daoist temples and sites along the paths to its peak. The area is green all year round and is known for its secluded tranquility. Jianfu Temple (Jianfu Gong) sits at the base of the mountain and is a large, well-preserved Daoist temple from the Tang Dynasty. About halfway up the mountain sits Tianshi Cave (Tianshi Dong) the temple and school of Zhang Daolin, a famous Daoist master who taught here and contributed greatly to spreading Daoism in China. The present Tianshi Cave buildings were built at the end of the Qing Dynasty. Lastly, near the peak sits Shangqing Temple, which was originally established in the Jin Dynasty, while the current temple buildings are Qing Dynasty constructions.
Mt. Qingcheng is located at the Dujiangyan scenery spot of Chengdu, Sichuan province. It is a famous mountain of Taoism. Surrounded by countless peaks and densely covered by ancient trees whose branches reaching the sky, the mountain was named "Mt. Qingcheng" (Green Town in Chinese). The mountain includes two parts-the anterior Mt. Qingcheng and the posterior Mt. Qingcheng. The anterior mountain is famous for its beautiful scenery and numerous cultural and historic sites; while the posterior mountain is noted for its
paradisiacal scenery, primitive and brilliant, gorgeous and mysterious.
The famous scenic sites are: the Shangqing Palace, the Jianfu Palace, and the Tianshi Cave, ect. Among them, the Jianfu Palace, with extraordinary bearing, stands against the
barranca under the Zhangren Peak. It was built in Tang dynasty, and repaired for several times in the successive dynasties, now only two halls and three compounds are preserved. In the left side of the Jianfu Palace is the princess of Mingqing mansion site. Going west for 1 kilometer, visitors can find the "the natural pictures". With the rocks uprightly standing, cloud and mist thickly wreathing, visitors often fancy that they are in pictures.
Two kilometers towards north comes the Tianshi Cave, the major temple of Mt. Qingcheng. According to legend, in the Eastern Han dynasty, Zhang Daolin had been here for preaching. In the Three Kings Palace, the main hall of the Tianshi Cave, the stone
inscriptions of three kings of Tang dynasty were laid. The palace contains wood and stone
tablets of past dynasties. The most famous include the Tang Xuanzong's imperial decree and Yuefei's handwriting of Zhu Geliang's Chushibiao, etc. Coming out from Tianshi Cave and passing the Fangning Bridge, visitors can reach the Zhushi Palace; unceasingly walk straight north is Chaoyang Cave; out of it, climbers could see the Shangqing Palace, which situates on a high platform. The Shangqing Palace was first built in the Jin dynasty and the extant temple was built during the reign of Tongzhi in Qing dynasty. There are stone inscriptions as "the fifth famous mountain under the sun", " the first peak in Mt.
Qingcheng" and so on in it. With its annually average temperature of 15 centigrade, Mt. Qingcheng belongs to humid subtropical monsoon climate. It is reputed as "Dong Tian Fu Di" (means wonderful mountain and happy place), "the fairyland on earth".

旅游英語(yǔ)作文 篇6
Traveling Abroad
It can be seen from the chart that there have been sharp increases in the number of people traveling abroad in City X in the past decade.
As the chart shows, the year 1995 witnessed only about 10,000 people from this city touring abroad. In 20xx, the number soared to nearly 40,000. Last year, more than 120,000 people in the city chose to spend their vacations outside China.
A number of factors account for the change in the chart, but the following are the most critical ones.
First, thanks to the policy of reform and opening-up, the nation’s economy has been developing at a considerably high speed in the past decades. Therefore, the people have more extra money for traveling.
Secondly, other relevant state policies and the boom of touring industry provide citizens with more opportunities to go out and see the world.
Last but not least, people have attached greater importance to the quality of life, thus they spend more money and time traveling and sight-seeing.
In a word, this chart is a perfect indicator of China’s fast expanding economy and people’s rising standard of life. The trend of traveling abroad will further stimulate the development of our economy and broaden people’s horizons.
旅游英語(yǔ)作文 篇7
The field's his study, nature was his book.
Travelers can choose different modes of transportation which have advantages and disadvantages. Airplanes are the fastest but also the most expensive. Buses and trains are less expensive, but they soon make you feel cramped and uncomfortable. Ships provide you with comfort unless you get seasick. Most people can afford traveling by bicycle, which, although slow, can limber up your muscles and get you closer to nature.

Indeed, it's fantastic and its buildings are distinctive. On the second days, we enjoyed the scenery of Jimei District. On the third day, We visited to Gulangyu. It's amazing and I like it very much. There are many small specific stores.
However, the huge tourist visitors make the small island crowed. Anyway, it was a pleasant vacation.
旅游英語(yǔ)作文 篇9
That was the first time for me to come to America. The trip was much more exciting than I had expected. As planned, I got my plane ticket and started my journey. Everything went smoothly at first. I departed from my home city Qingdao and changed a larger plane in Seoul, South Korea. The second day the plane arrived in Chicago on time and I was in high spirits for I almost got to my destination—SMSU (Southwest Missouri State University) in Springfield. Just at that time something unexpected happened.
When I went through the customs, the immigration officer asked me about the 9-year-old boy who travelled with me all the way from China. As a matter of fact, I didn‘t really know the boy before. Before I left China, his grandparents heard that I was coming to Springfield through Chicago, so they asked me to take this boy to his parents who work in Chicago. The boy had all the necessary documents, including his passport, American visa, etc. Without any hesitation, I agreed to take care of the boy on my way to Chicago. I explained to the officer, but he insisted that I should show the boy‘s parents?letter inviting the boy to America, which we didn‘t bring with us. The officer asked us to stay aside and after a while, another officer came and brought us to a special room and ordered us to be quiet. When I looked around, I found another man there, whose ankle was fastened with fetters to a bench leg. It was obvious that I had lost my freedom. They probably thought I was a smuggler who smuggle children to America.
The plane for Springfield was leaving soon. I tried to explain, but they refused to listen. They just asked us to sit still. After about 30 minutes, one officer came to ask me about the boy‘s parents?telephone number and I told him they were waiting outside the Customs Office and told him their names. The officer said he would find them. After another 20 minutes, he came back and returned my passport and allowed me to go, but he did not bring the boy‘s parents in. His parents were not allowed into the Customs Office, so the boy had to wait. Just imagine, how frightening for a boy who was only 9 years old, speaking no English and was told to stay there waiting! So I said: "No, I won‘t go unless the boy goes with me or you let his parents come to fetch him." On hearing this, the officer asked me to wait and after 10 minutes, he came out and gave us the boy‘s passport and allowed us to leave. I looked at my watch. I had 8 minutes left to get onto my plane. We hurried to look for our luggage. Just as the old saying goes, "When it rains, it pours."One of my luggage bags in which I put all my daily neccessities was missing. I looked everywhere but failed to find it. An officer there told me to go and collect it in Springfield. I had to take the boy to his parents. There were so many people waiting outside. I could not find his parents. I had never seen them before. The boy was so young that I dared not let him go alone to look for his parents for fear he might get lost. Finally I had to call out his father‘s name at the top of my voice, and getting a few stares.
They probally thought I was mad. Luckily he heard me and my mission of taking the boy to his parents was fulfilled. But there was only about 2 minutes before the plane took off. So we (his father and I) hurried to the terminal, only to be told the plane had left exactly 2 minutes before. The officer at the terminal suggested us to take the next day‘s plane for it was already 9 pm. I was really exhausted. The only thing I could do then was to find the nearest hotel, "Hilton Hotel"to stay for the night.
The next day I took the first plane to Springfield. My luggage was still missing, and they just asked me to wait and promised to send it to me the next day. I waited and waited... one day... two days... three days... four days... but still it didn‘t come. I felt very depressed, for I could not change my clothes for all these days, and they had begun to smell. But what touched me most was that all the colleagues in my department tried their best to help me and to comfort me. Fortunately the luggage arrived six days later. Although the suitcase was broken, everything inside was safe.
