The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them.
Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.

我的課余生活很豐富，比如：學(xué)舞蹈、學(xué)英語、彈鋼琴……期中，我最喜歡學(xué)英語。
我從幼兒園就開始學(xué)習(xí)英語了。剛開始學(xué)習(xí)時只是因為上英語課的'時候，能和小朋友一起玩游戲、唱英語歌曲，覺得非常有趣，所以才走進這個英語學(xué)習(xí)班。隨著學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容的深入，學(xué)習(xí)時間的增加，我也曾有過放棄學(xué)習(xí)英語的念頭，甚至還為這件事哭過鼻子。但是，當(dāng)我想起“持之以恒”的故事時，我覺得自己克服困難，繼續(xù)堅持下去。
媽媽很贊同我的做法。為此，還表揚了我。
去年，我參加了“人教派斯杯”全國少年兒童英語風(fēng)采大賽。當(dāng)我順利地通過初賽的時候，全家都為我感到高興。當(dāng)我通過復(fù)賽，獲得了到北京參加決賽的機會時，全家人更為我歡呼。
去年暑假，我和爸爸媽媽一起開開心心去北京參加比賽，雖然我只拿到了一個“優(yōu)秀獎”，但是媽媽鼓勵我說比賽重在參與。
