As time passes by,fewer people go to see movies. As shown in the table, the number of film-goers in 1975 is 85,000,whereas in 1985 there are only 12,000 people who go to see movies. It is also evident that the number of film-goers keeps decreasing slowly.
More and more people like to watch TV due to the rapid development of TV industry. As seen from the table, the number of TV watchers increases from 5,000 in 1975 to 100,000 in 1985. The basic cause of this change is the fast development of TV industry. TV provides more interesting and colorful programs to the watchers. It lets people enjoy themselves at home instead of going out. Various TV Channels offer the watchers more choices of whatever they want to see.
However,there are still stone film-goers because film has its own advantages. Its appealing audio and visual effects, vivid atmosphere and long history still outshine TV at present time.

Nowadays, television plays a very important role in our lives. It brings many advantages to us but also some disadvantages. Is television a blessing or a curse?
On the one hand, television has great contributions to make our lives be more wonderful. First, it provides a convenient way for us to get information from all over the world, which lets us keep abreast with the times. Second, various TV programs provide another way for us to relax and entertain. People can release pressure by watching TV programs.
On the other hand, however, television also brings some disadvantages to us. For example, some people indulge themselves in watching TV and neglect their study and work. Besides, some TV programs are inappropriate for children, such as TV series concerning violence and sex. Last but not least, watching TV too much is bad for children’s eyesight.
As far as I am concerned, television itself is neither a blessing nor a curse. If we use it properly, we can benefit from it and avoid its harmfulness.

Nowadays there are fewer and fewer cinema-goers and the cinema is relax. However,there are more and more TV viewers. There are many reasons for this social phenomenon, but in general, they come down to three major ones. First, film tickets are too expensive, while it doesn't cost much to watch TV at home. Besides, it is time-consuming and inconvenient to go to the cinema. Nevertheless, it is very convenient and comfortable to watch TV at home. You needn't go out but just need to turn on the television. Most important of all, if you don't like the film, you'll have to sit through it; but if you don't like one programme on TV,you can shift to another.
However,some people still go to the cinema. They usually go to the cinema for the purpose of social contact. Young people go dating there. Other people go to the cinema as an activity. For example, schools often organize children to go to the cinema. Sometimes employees also go to the cinema with the free tickets presented by their institutions.
